I'll Show You My Papers.........You Show Me Yours!!!

Larry is a 6'3", smooth, handsome, chocolate brother. You know the kind that makes exhale just by looking at him. That's how women old and young feel about my cousin.

Well, a few weeks ago I visited him and this chick was blowing up his phone. I mean, she called fourteen times in two minutes! Then, she sent a threatening text message. Can you imagine? I was beside myself with curiousity and asked what's up.

We Are Our Brother's Keeper

September 24th marks the culmination of months of fundraising events in our various communities. Whether it is the Fish Fry in D.C., The Tobago Day in N.Y, Tea Party in Tobago or Family Day/Walk in Fort Lauderdale, it all comes to a fruitful end at Store Bay, Tobago.

"A Well Oiled Machine"

FOTAS New York Annual Aid’s Fund Raiser

‘A Well Oiled Machine’ is how one can describe the Annual FOTAS AIDS Fund Raiser in New York City.

The effort, motivation and team work that goes into this preparation will make any mom proud. Support rolls in from everywhere. There are people who donate food and are in the line with their purchased tickets to collect food. Local artists keep calling to volunteer their services. From the cleaning and preparation of meats and fish to presentation, FOTAS task force is involved in the total food service.

GREAT JOB TRAVELSPAN

Friends of Tobago AIDS Society thanks TravelSpan Vacations for their donations during our 2007 campaign.

Your gift has allowed Tobagonians at the 6th annual HIV/AIDS Awareness Walk to experience the live works of artiste, Devin Robinson X. This was Devin's his first trip to the Trinidad and Tobago and his experience was wonderful!

There were no delays at the airport, a tropical welcome on the airplane, friendly and courteous staff, excellent food and Trinidad rum punch was a great touch.

Good job Allison Mason, Salisha Khan and Anil Sooklal!

De Crab Missing!

It was a hot sunny day in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The setting was nice for a Tobago Family Day. DJ Papa Brown/Bethel drive four hours to provide entertainment; a young man who say he from Tobago but he don't know anybody there heard on the radio that we needed some traditional kites and made five for the occasion. But like all prodigals we welcome him in the family. Dwight/Bethel walk with about 20 yards of old bedding for kite tail. (Doh ask me wey he get dat from)
