About Us

Friends of Tobago Aids Society is an organization which was formed by a few nationals of Trinidad and Tobago who recognized the urgent need for assistance by various organizations in Trinidad and Tobago dealing with the problem of HIV/AIDS. The organization is a registered non-profit corporation whose purpose is exclusively charitable and educational. The mission of the organization is to provide financial, medical, professional and other resourses for persons infected with and affected by HIV.

The main objectives of the organization are:

to provide a platform for the advancement of AIDS education by establishing educational support groups

conducting seminars and lectures, assisting with the formation of out reach programs and the dissemination of information through publications.

to support and assist through gifts, contributions and otherwise to local HIV/AIDS Awareness organizations.
